Introduction Urinary bladder infections (UTI- Urinary Tract Infections or cystitis) are common in cats, especially females. As we learn more about this disease we realize many factors are involved when a cat gets a cystitis. This page will talk about some of them and how we handle this vexing problem that varies in symptoms and treatment in every cat. This problem can progress, and it can become serious, especially in male cats. It this occurs it is sometimes called FLUTD (Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease). Medical and Conservation Work on the Endangered Rhinoceros

In August of 2021 Dr. Palazzolo took a team of veterinarians to the Waterberg mountains of South Africa and Marataba in the Waterberg Region to do medical and conservation work on white and black rhino. The veterinarian in charge is Andre Uys, and he runs the Marataba in the Waterberg Region. Great Blue Herons of Northern Michigan

Some pictures of the Great Blue Heron on the inland lakes of Michigan as they go about their daily activities. These photos were taken with a Canon 1Dx Mark III and a Canon R5 camera, using 400 mm and 500 mm telephoto lenses.
