Introduction Urinary bladder infections (UTI- Urinary Tract Infections or cystitis) are common in cats, especially females. As we learn more about this disease we realize many factors are involved when a cat gets a cystitis. In August of 2021 Dr. Palazzolo took a team of veterinarians to the Waterberg mountains of South Africa and Marataba in the Waterberg Region to do medical and conservation work on white and black rhino. The veterinarian in charge is Andre Uys, and he runs the Marataba in the Waterberg Region. Great Blue Herons of Northern Michigan

Some pictures of the Great Blue Heron on the inland lakes of Michigan as they go about their daily activities.
